Jacob Wallace Broussard LA Obituary Death: 13, In Loving Memory

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Jacob Wayne Wallace announces his passing. A beloved 13-year-old, Jacob’s bright spirit and joyful presence touched the lives of all who knew him. He left us unexpectedly on Sunday, November 30, 2025, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, kindness, and happiness that will forever remain in our hearts. His loss has created an irreplaceable void in the lives of his family, friends, classmates, and community.

A heartfelt service to honor and celebrate Jacob’s life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the La Fleur de Lis Chapel at Martin & Castille Funeral Home in Lafayette. This gathering will be a time for loved ones to reflect on Jacob’s vibrant life, share treasured memories, and find comfort in each other’s presence during this difficult time. The family will receive visitors at the Southside location of Martin & Castille Funeral Home on Friday, December 12, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on Saturday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service.

The funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Chris Reis of Our Savior’s Church in Youngsville, who will offer words of comfort and remembrance. His message will honor Jacob’s lively personality, loving heart, and the joy he brought into everyone’s life.

Jacob is survived by his loving parents, Steven and Jessica Wallace, who are deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support from their community during this difficult time. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Stella Wallace, who shared a close bond with him and will carry his memory forever. His grandmothers, Cindy Beaumont and Claudia Wallace, shared a special relationship with Jacob and mourn his loss alongside the family.

He is also survived by his aunts—Stacy Wallace, Amber Wallace, and Rachel Beaumont—and his uncles—Scott Wallace and Bobby Beaumont—along with a large circle of cousins: Morgan Wallace, Alex Ross, Ava Moreau, Cody Wallace, William Wallace, Anthony Beaumont, and E.J. Beaumont. Each of them remembers Jacob as a joyful, funny, and affectionate presence who brought warmth and laughter to every family gathering.

Jacob is now reunited in peace with his maternal grandfather, Bob Beaumont, and his paternal grandfather, Donald Wallace, who preceded him in passing. The family finds comfort knowing he is at rest with them.

A lifelong resident of Broussard, Jacob was an eighth-grade student at Broussard Middle School. Known for his enthusiasm, humor, and kind spirit, he was a beloved member of his school community. He loved participating in the school wrestling team, demonstrating determination and teamwork. Jacob also enjoyed playing the saxophone in the school band and found joy in music, video games, and spending quality time with family and friends. His quick wit and warm personality made him a natural at making others laugh and brightening any room he entered.
